Nothing major changes for the 2022 edition, while last year's (still available) Mazda CX-30 saw some significant upgrades in only its second year on the market. The major addition was the newly available turbocharged four-cylinder, adding more power. Inside, smartphone integration was made standard while a higher trim's option package added a premium 12-speaker sound system.
Performance and Technology
You'll have two engines available for your new 2022 Mazda CX-30. The starting is a regular 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 186 horsepower with 186 pound-feet of torque, earning solid fuel efficiency figures and providing optional all-wheel drive starting in the base level. For more power, choose the turbocharged engine, which is the same size but provides a boost to 250 horsepower when using recommended premium fuel.
On the tech front, the new 2022 Mazda CX-30 is well-equipped. A standard 8.8-inch infotainment display with a control knob located near your gear selector provides easy access to all kinds of features and systems, including those connected to your vehicle through the easy smartphone integration apps.
